What is in Calmi?

Calmi is a plant-based dietary supplement for breastfeeding mothers that helps relieve babies’ gas and stomach discomfort. The formula is based on Chinese medicine and mothers’ wisdom passed down from generation to generation, brought together to create this blend, specifically to relieve gas and colic in the breastfed baby. The formula is an adaptation of traditional nursing mothers’ tea, in capsule form, for efficiency and maximum absorption.
With Calmi, you can help relieve gas and abdominal discomfort by trusting your body and your milk first. Nothing goes into your baby that is not the very best – directly from your breast.
Instead of disturbing your baby’s microbiome with oral solutions take Calmi yourself and the active ingredients will pass to your baby through the filter of your breast milk, and help your own stomach discomfort at the same time.

Chamomile – Babong (Matricaria Recutita)
Chamomile has been used for thousands of years as a medicinal plant. In ancient Greece, it was used to treat digestive problems and sleep problems. Today, chamomile is used in naturopathy to treat a variety of common problems, including abdominal discomfort and gas.
Dong Quai Root (Angelica Sinensis)
Dong Quai is considered one of the most important plants in traditional Chinese medicine, where it is used to “drive” processes in the body, including those related to digestion and absorption. We decided to include it in our formula as a plant, which, according to traditional Chinese medicine, encourages movement in states of congestion, which may cause discomfort after meals.
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
Licorice is a star plant in middle eastern traditional herb medicine, with a history of thousands of years in the traditional herbal medicine of the Land of Israel. It is considered a plant with sweet and rejuvenating qualities. It is used to strengthen, nourish and restore and, in Chinese medicine, to support health through its unique effect on all the body’s energy channels (the meridians), including those that act on the digestive processes. In naturopathy, licorice root is known to contain components with a “moisturizing” quality that are harnessed to regulate digestion.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)
Fennel is a plant with a distinguished history in traditional medicine. In India, it is an important plant in Ayurvedic medicine. Fennel is used in traditional medicine to treat common digestive problems, abdominal discomfort and gas. In ancient maternal wisdom, it is passed down from generation to generation as a plant that is made into a tea for the nursing mother to relieve gas in breastfed babies.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
The Calmi formula would not be complete without ginger root. Ginger root is a stimulating and warming root according to Chinese medicine. It improves and energizes stomach function. The root has been used medicinally for thousands of years.

    I’m very satisfied with the supplements, especially Calmi, my daughter suffered from colic a lot, and as soon as I started taking the supplement, it went away, almost immediately. One night when I forgot to take it, we really felt that she was not calm. The effect was so extreme, that when I gave her thawed breastmilk, she suddenly had colic after a month and a half of not having it, and it took us a while to figure out that it was because of the thawed milk from the time before I took the supplements. Highly, highly recommended, I share this with all my breastfeeding mom friends.
    I take 2 pills in the morning and it does the job for the whole day.
